Artist Statement
To create something completely new out of deconstructed images, letters and prints, is an ongoing intuitive visual experiment.
The source of materials for my collages and artist books are found paper, vintage paper and monoprints.
I’m getting inspired by the material itself and I always ask: “How can I connect pieces?”
To have an intuitive approach I like to work spontaneously and try to avoid overthinking.
Since I was a child I have always loved to create and recycle things. I like to work with different materials but paper is one of my favorite material to work with.
